Archery
Archery takes place on one of two purpose built 10m ranges within the grounds of Avon Tyrrell. All staff are qualified to GNAS leader level and range 1 is fully accessible making it an ideal session for those who are less physically able.
Each range has two targets. Instructors will initially run through safety rules and demonstrate how to shoot an arrow, following this individuals will get the chance to practice under one-on-one tuition, enabling them to learn and perfect their technique. Once the group are all deemed to be suitable competent then instructors can operate with four on the shooting line at any one time and introduce additional technique and games as appropriate.
Session Time – 90 minutes
Group Size – Maximum of 8
