Bush Craft
Bushcraft and woodland survival activities are an excellent foundation to help people understand social skills, team and personal development, in addition to wider environmental issues. We offer a range of bushcraft sessions that are designed to challenge and inspire groups of all ages
180 minutes: During this three hour session, groups will cover the basics for survival, including shelter construction, fire lighting, Kelly kettles and friction fire lighting.
Full day: Over the course of the day, the group will experience the basic skills required for survival. Activities vary according to the time of year, but may include shelter construction, Firelighting, Kelly Kettles, Friction Firelighting, string making, wild food identification and preparation, cooking on an open fire and safe tool use.
Session Time – can be 1.5 hour, 3 hour or 6 hour session.
Elements include - Fire, tool work, shelter building (more technical to build a more established shelter than the usual sessions), camp cooking and woodland jewellery.
Group Size – Maximum of 1:8, although multiple groups may be booked.
