Geography Field Skill
This three hour session is an ideal introduction to Key Stage three field work. Designed as an introduction to basic geography field work skills, this half day session students will learn and use a variety of skills.
The session starts with some with some basic map reading skills, grid referencing and compass work. Once these skills have been established, the students will follows a simple compass route around site to put the information into practice. The second part of the session will be spent out on the open New Forest conducting environmental impact assessments and field sketches.
Session Time – 180 minutes
Group Size – Maximum of 35
