Global Guardians
A full day session designed for both key stages one and two groups to explore issues of sustainability. During the day the group will consider various issues surrounding sustainable living and climate change.
The day starts with the group considering questions such as ‘what is climate change,’ ‘why is it important to look after the planet?’ and ‘what does sustainability mean?.’ Once these issues have been established, the group will look at specific issues that affect them. These issues can include landfill, waste and recycling; energy, transport; building design and individuals carbon footprints. Within each issue interactive discussions, activities and games are used to explore the problems and their solutions.
The day ends with a quiz show style game, reviewing the information discussed during the day and what the group can do at home.
The day can be tailored to fit your group’s needs, please let us know if there are specific issues that you would like to explore.

Groups should be aware that this is a predominantly indoor session.
