New Forest Study
The New Forest Study is a half day session spent out on the New Forest looking at the history and traditions of the forest, the wildlife that can be found and the impact that tourism and recreation has on the landscape. Whilst out on the Forest the group will have the chance to complete and compare environmental impact assessments and study the impact of trampling using quadrats.
The New Forest is accessed by an on site stile and we walk a circular route back to site. All sessions are led by a knowledgeable and experienced instructor who is qualified to a minimum of the Hampshire County Council Open Country Leaders Award.
Session Time – 3 hours
