Powerful Plants

A close encounter with plants, pupils will have the opportunity to explore some of the habitats within Avon Tyrrell in search of all the different plant life that lives here.

Key stage one: We focus on the different parts of plants, how they work and the variety of different plants that live at Avon Tyrrell

Key stage two: We look at the variety of plants living at Avon Tyrrell and how they work, we will also investigate the secret life of seeds and how they disperse into the environment.

Sensible clothes and shoes should be worn during this activity.

Plant Power is available all year round, although winter sessions will include a smaller variety of plants
