Roll Out The Barrels

Roll Out The Barrels is an inter-team activity for between 12 and 120 people. In teams of between 6 and 10 people per team, you will take part in a series of challenges in the grounds of Avon Tyrrell.

Challenges will vary depending on availability but could include the use of the ropes course, archery ranges, problem solving and more. Each challenge is given a points value and the aim for each team is to earn as many points as possible in the allotted time.

At a designated time, all challenges will cease and teams will congregate for a fun auction. Using the points accumulated in the first half of the event, teams bid for raft building equipment.

Once each team has acquired rafting equipment, teams must build a raft and take part in a raft race or rafting challenges on our lake. Additional points are available here and the winning team is the team with the most points left at the end of the event.

The day will culminate in the reading of the results where you can present any prizes you might have brought along for the day.

This event has been very popular with many different groups. It is great for ice breaking a new year group and has been used by schools, colleges and universities for this exact purpose. It is also a great way to get people working together who normally do not and has been used for this purpose by many different companies including KPMG, Millets, Barclays bank and more.

The event can be run for a half day (9.00-13.00 or 14.00-16.00) or a full day (9.30-16.30).
