Soils & Vegetation
During this session, participants will explore the components of soil and the processes involved in its formation. Through collecting soils samples and carrying out soil infiltration tests, groups will use their results to establish how a soils composition affects its characteristics. Groups will also be encouraged to consider the importance of soil to all life on earth and how it can affect vegetation growth.
Session Time – 90 minutes
