What's in the Woods

A full day of activities designed to allow groups to explore plants and animals within a natural environment.  There are various activity options that can be included in the day, the number to be included in your day will depend on your start and finish time, but you should be able to get up to four activities in.  The options include:

• Plants
• Mini-beasts
• Pond dipping – (dependant on group size)
• Animal tracking: Hunting for the tracks and signs that animals have left behind.
• Environmental games: played as a conclusion to the day, they are specially designed to bring together everything that the group have learnt throughout the day.

Session Time – Full day

Group Size – Maximum of 35

Sensible clothes and shoes should be worn during this activity.
