Zip Wire

From the end of February 2012 until further notice, the Zip Wire will be closed as there is essential work needing to be done.  We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope to give you news of when it will be open again soon.

Set in an idyllic location over our lake, our Zip Wire is an adrenalin charged experience.

Ascending 40 feet up a tree, participants are attached to the Zip Wire and descend to ground level over water, approximately 100 meters.

To get as many goes as possible, participants are requested to assist instructors with various jobs including, tightening break ropes and carrying some equipment. We guarantee at least one go each but most groups of 8 will have two goes each.

Session Time – 90 minutes

Group Size – Maximum of 8

Recommendations

Hampshire students must be 12 years of age or over to take part

Unfortunately, this activity does not have disabled access, participants must be able to climb a ladder under their own power.
