Avon Tyrrell Mountain Bike Trails
USER GUIDE
To ensure your safety and enjoyment on the trails please make sure you follow this User Guide:
NO HELMET, NO PERMIT, NO RIDE!

All cyclists MUST wear a helmet and it is advisable to wear gloves and appropriate clothing.

All children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Supervision is also suggested for those new to off-road riding.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order, pay particular attention to the tyres, brakes and gears. Remember these courses are designed for mountain biking!

Use only the way-marked red and yellow routes, maps available in reception. Please Note: You are ONLY ALLOWED to have access to the designated bike trails NO OTHER RIDING ON SITE AT AVON TYRRELL

Know your limitations. Off-road cycling can be fun and challenging but can be hazardous so don’t try any stunts or tricks you can’t do or have never tried before.

Please report any incidents or problems whilst riding the course to reception.

Bike trail permits are available from reception between 9am – 5pm each day.

Two routes available:
- Yellow Beginners to Intermediate
- Red Intermediate to Advanced (an extension loop off the red route is marked black and is for advanced riders only)
Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
Note: Whilst UK Youth has insurance and risk assessments in place for activities at Avon Tyrrell, this activity is self-guided and we request that all users follow the code as listed above. Avon Tyrrell, UK Youth therefore accepts no responsibility for damage or injury to persons or property using the trails at Avon Tyrrell. We will also not accept responsibility for theft of bikes or personal property so please make sure you keep your items secure & have own insurance in place.
