Avon Tyrrell House was the last known calendar house to be built in the UK and is Grade I listed. This historical house stands as the focal point in our 65 acre estate and manages to combine historical charm and features, with practicality making it an ideal place to stay if you are visiting with a large group.

Avon Tyrrell House sleeps from 12 - 110 and is offered as a full board accommodation option.  Featuring spacious mixed room sizes and modern facilities such as key coded locks, an automated fire alarm system and Wi-Fi, our house offers affordable group accommodation.  We even have separate rooms for group leaders on each floor with TV and tea and coffee making facilities to make sure you enjoy a comfortable stay.

For guests staying in our main house, you will have access to the main hall, drawing room, dining hall, bar and games area where available.
