Activities Instructor - Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre

Avon Tyrrell is a charity run outdoor centre situated in The New Forest National Park on the beautiful South Coast and we are currently recruiting for passionate and enthusiastic permanent/seasonal outdoor instructors to join our team.

Dedicated to the continuous development of young people and passionate about outdoor learning, Avon Tyrrell it is a fantastic place to work with a great staff team.

What we can offer you

Salary: £18,000 per annum pro rata

Hours: Full Time (42.5 hours per week)

Due to the nature of the role, onsite accommodation is available upon request and is charged at £32.94 per week for a single room in a shared lodge. 

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should be over 18 and have previous instructing experience, a valid first aid certificate and a minimum of two industry qualifications from the below list:

  • BC Coach Award or BC Paddle sport Instructor

  • ERCA  Traditional Instructor

  • CWI or CWIA

  • A nationally recognised walking/navigation qualification

  • A nationally recognised mountain biking qualification

  • Archery GB instructor
