As a fully accessible centre, the facilities and services that we offer are fully supportive for those who need additional support and our fleet of bikes now suit most needs. We offer a range of all terrain Inclusion Bikes and off road wheelchairs for use both on the cycle trails as well as off site for groups.
Boma: The Boma allows users to freely access our entire site. With a twist grip throttle and squeeze break for hand control and the ability to also be used with a personal assistant controlling throttle if hand control is a problem. These chairs do not provide upper body support, but we do have two chest harnesses if needed for more comfort and support.
Three Wheeled Tramper
The Three wheeled Tramper is our newest motorised inclusion chair. Featuring a twist throttle, the Tramper is fully adjustable to suit any user and can be switch between left and right-handed control. It can tackle any terrain onsite and with its self-braking system driving is easy for all.
Trets: These recumbent trikes are ideally more suitable for younger users aged 6-16. They have a support harness for those that need a little extra comfort and support when cycling. The Trets bikes can be used in conjunction with the Kettweisel and with adjustment options to fit your needs and a hand brake for easier riding, you will have the maximum comfort as you’re cycling through the forest.
Pino: Our Pino is a tandem bike with a recumbent front seat and a support harness and back if needed. Both seats have a huge range of adjustment to allow most users access for a comfortable ride. The Pino is best used on flatter ground and would suit a parent and child cycling together with the more confident rider on the back.
Kettweisel: Our Kettweisel bikes are recumbent trikes with power assist and 3 levels of assistance when pedalling the bike giving riders an extra boost when cycling uphill. The Kettweisel bikes are perfect for taller users as they have a big adjustment range and would generally be best for adults aged 14+ although there is flexibility.
The Boma is Free of Charge for groups to use but can only be used on site. Please note, we reserve the right to request a holding deposit during its use and any damages may be charged.
