Following the UK Government’s direction, Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre has fully reopened.

Following the most recent government update we are now in step 4 of the roadmap set out by the government and Avon Tyrrell can safely operate most of our facilities and services again, however we will continue to implement various measures for the safety of our staff and customers. 

Please find below an outline of the services we expect to resume under the current roadmap.

  • Bike Hire & Bike Tracks
  • Cafe Explore 
  • Outdoor activities for groups of young people
  • Educational day visits and residential for schools
  • Overnight youth visits can resume
  • Overnight Camping
  • Toilet and shower facilities
  • Lodge accommodation with no restriction on numbers/households
  • We can now reopen all activities and no longer have to quarantine equipment.

We will continue to encourage customers to regularly wash hands and respect others on site by maintaining social distancing from other groups. 

We will be monitoring cases and the government updates closely and if we feel we need to enforce additional precautions, we may look to do this.
