Following the UK Government’s direction, Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre will be reopening from Friday 2nd April

Following the government update on the 22nd February 2021, and the roadmap set out by the government, Avon Tyrrell will be officially re-opening certain facilities from Friday 2nd April.

Please find below an outline of the services we expect to resume under the current roadmap.

From Friday 2nd April, the following can resume:

  • Be Outdoor Days (No indoor spaces)
  • Family Go Adventure Activities
  • Family Events (our Easter Trail will be going ahead)
  • Tree Top Trail
  • Bike Hire & Bike Tracks
  • Cafe Explore (Takeaways only)
  • Outdoor activities for young people can resume

From Monday 12 April 

  • Be Outdoor Days (with Indoor space)
  • Educational day visits can resume
  • Overnight Camping for single households/support bubbles
  • Lodge accommodation for single households/support bubbles

Please note: Whilst toilet facilities will be available, we cannot open the shower facilities at this time.

Monday 17th May

  • Shower facilities will open
  • Cafe Explore (indoor seating is permitted)
  • Overnight youth visits can resume
  • Overnight school residentials can resume

As you are aware, this is dependent on the lockdown restrictions easing as planned, so please note that some of these dates may be pushed back.

We are currently taking bookings for April onwards, however should Avon Tyrrell remain closed, we will of course be able to move your booking or provide a full refund.
