Youth Development Programmes in New Forest
Our commitment to youth development
As a result of the ongoing commitment we have to support young people, our team work incredibly hard to secure additional funding opportunities to help run various programmes.
At current, we have no additional funded programmes running, however, due to our team's hard work and effort this could change.

The Adventures Away from Home Fund (AAfH) phase 2 is in partnership with the Department of Media, Culture and Sport and aims to give under represented young people aged 11-18 years (up to 25 years for SEND), who form part of an organised group, an unforgettable day visit or residential break with us in the New Forest.
Enjoy a fully funded day visit or 2-night residential with us in January - March 2024.

Throughout March - May 2022 we saw 233 enjoy a three-day residential as part of the fully funded programme. The aim of the programme used outdoor learning to develop young people's general understanding of risk and specifically the dangers associated with railways.

Our residential leadership programme aims to develop the key characteristics of good leadership, delivers a combination of outdoor activities to help young people to be more confident to motivate and influence others.

Active Youth is a programme aimed to increase participation in physical activity of inactive young people. Through multiple activity sessions, guided by the interests of the participants, our programme will focus on a range of physical outdoor activities to help them become more active and support young people’s wellbeing.

Our exciting 'Accessible Adventure' weekends are available throughout the year to families that have a child with a disability. Enjoy a programme of activities, relax and make new friends, sharing your experience with other families.

The EcoHealth project provides invaluable opportunities for people with mental health issues to get back into work or training, to build confidence, relationships and self-esteem, improving wellbeing.
