Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated maintenance assistant to work within our busy maintenance department.

Working in a friendly team you will be responsible for repairs, maintenance and upkeep of the buildings, estate and general fixtures and facilities.

Candidates must have a full driving licence and hold one or more specialist qualifications, e.g.

  • electrical work
  • plumbing
  • general building
  • grounds work 
 

Candidates should be enthusiastic and able to deal with visitors in a polite and friendly manner, be prepared to work indoors and outdoors in all weathers and have a flexible approach to working hours, as some weekend work is required.


What we can offer you:

Salary: £18k-£19.5k DOE pro rata per annum.

Hours: 37.5 per week

Every staff member is entitled to 1 days paid development per calendar year in addition to the 2 days charity wide staff training days as well as volunteering leave one full day or two half days per calendar year.
