The residential phase of The Prince’s Trust is seen as one of the most important early stages of the programme where teams form new bonds and explore the essence of what drives success within a team.

UK Youth have become experts in delivering powerful development and learning programmes. At our national Activity Centre at Avon Tyrrell in the New Forest, you will find the perfect location to run a Prince’s Trust Residential Programme with the support of the Avon Tyrrell Team.

We operate to strict safety standards and our aim is to give groups an enjoyable learning and development experience within a safe and secure environment.  All of our activity staff are NGB qualified and have developed their skills to get the most out of young people encouraging individuals to reach their potential.

With over 13 years experience facilitating Princes Trust Teams during their ’Residential Week’ our instructors have a wealth of knowledge, expertise and skill to draw positivity from the young people in the team. The programme is designed around the individual team’s objectives and needs, the exact route being dependent on where the team are emotionally and socially.

Our highly qualified and passionate staff are on hand throughout the week to support the group, providing valuable feedback to help them develop both individually and as part of a team. Throughout the programme, instructors will build and test team skills, confidence and sense of responsibility to others - skills which are invaluable throughout life.

Our self catering lodges are the ideal venue for a Princes Trust Residential Programme. Living in group accommodation also allows participants to develop new skills and maturity when having to live closely with others and help with daily chores.
