Our Activities

Avon tyrrell offers a comprehensive range of activities which all take place within the grounds of our 65 acre estate.

In order to help you find just what you are looking for we have categorised our activities into seven areas, although you will find some activities overlap into a number of areas.

Please click on the headings below for more information, or contact our customer services team who will be able to discuss your aims and objectives in more detail and develop an activity programme perfect for your group.

Whichever session(s) you choose all our activities are specifically tailored to meet your groups requirements and session planning is based on appropriately involving and challenging every young person, by creating a safe and supportive environment in which they can explore and develop.

Safety

Safety is our top priority and copies of our insurance certificates and our activity risk assessments can be found in the useful information page.   Our facilities and activities are inspected by Hampshire County Council and AALA and all our staff are fully trained and where appropriate qualified by the relevant National Governing Bodies.

Supervision & Timings

We require one adult teacher/leader/supervisor present at all activity sessions and/or min. ratio of one leader per 8 participants. Activity sessions include approximately 10 minutes for introductions/changeovers and approximately 1 hour 20 minutes of teaching. Due to busy periods and pressure on the facilities, for day visitors, we reserve the right to make an additional charge for very early arrivals or late departures.

Check out our current prices and remember residential guests receive a 15% discount on our activity prices.

If you would like more information, to check our availability, or make a booking please contact us.
