Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre - Catering Assistant

Situated in The New Forest National Park on the beautiful South Coast, Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre is looking for hard-working and enthusiastic staff to join our AT services team.

Avon Tyrrell is a fantastic place to work with a great staff team and is dedicated to providing opportunity and unlocking potential in young people through inclusive Outdoor Learning. 

Roles and Responsibilities

To work in the Avon Tyrrell main kitchen and café to:

  • Interact with guests in a polite and professional manner
  • Help prepare and serve meals to guests, ensuring meals are provided on time and meet guest requirements
  • Answer questions (training provided) regarding allergens and dietary information
  • Ensure all catering areas (including dining area, kitchen servery and café) are maintained to a hygienic, clean and tidy state
  • Carry out tasks as per the cleaning schedule including servery and pot wash area
  • Adhere to food hygiene guidelines
  • Support cash handling and taking orders, when working in the café

What we can offer you:

Salary: £8.25 per hour

Hours: Seasonal or permanent part time positions available (please specify preference on application)
