The National Citizen Service is a life changing experience for 15-17 year olds in England, giving young people the opportunity to give something back to the community. By doing an NCS programme, young people have an incredible experience where they can learn new skills, meet new people and leave with unforgettable memories.

What to we hope to achieve?

By delivering high quality, bespoke training an NCS residential at Avon Tyrrell will help build invaluable and essential tools for life.

Below is a sample week long programme, however our NCS packages can be extremely flexible to fit with the learning outcomes you want for your group.

Fission and Fusion Scenario Day

Please note that NCS Delivery Partners are now unable to book accommodation directly with us. If you are interested in booking Avon Tyrrell for your NCS residential, please contact Invasion Camp Group Ltd who will manage booking Accommodation for Phase 1 and 2 from Summer 2020 onwards.

The Trust will oversee procurement of high-quality activities, accommodation and resources for Phase 1 and 2, taking into account operational, financial and strategic priorities at national level.

Avon Tyrrell is home to the UK Youth National Charity and the work that we do in the New Forest is only a small part of the wider work of the charity and the opportunities we provide for young people.
